We had a presentation today at college. They are very nervewracking. We're only presenting to our own group but the lecturer that is with us is the programme leader. He's lovely but there's still the intimidation of wondering if I've done it correctly...
The topic of my presentation was Communication and Anxiety in the Pre-Operative Setting. I enjoyed reading about this area. I'm starting my theatre placement in three weeks so it's all good information to have.
This time rather than reading out from a sheet of paper I used an OHP, I thought it might make it easier for everyone else. *laugh* I was a bit of an ould eejit with the OHP, I think I need a class in how to use it without looking like a complete amateur. No worries. I got through it and had some positive feedback.
