Cheney, Rumsfeld, Wolfowitz, Libby (Cheney's chief of staff) Khalilzad (national security council), Abrams (defense policy board) are all members of this project and members of the Bush administration plus Jeb Bush.
More than 8 years ago (before terror was an issue) they decided on a unilateral international policy and that the invasion of Iraq was the first step on their agenda of imposing America's will on the rest of the world. In 1998 they wrote a letter to Bill Clinton urging him to invade Iraq...all of this is a matter of written record.
It is also a matter of record they came into power with this as their #1 objective...Paul Wolfowitz told a congressional hearing that WMD was selected by the group as the best way to sell the war to the public and he also said that revenue from the Iraqi oil fields would pay for the war.
In other words, they seized on 9/11 as the raison d'etre to invade Iraq and sold this specious argument to the unsuspecting American public...the 9/11 commission has stated Saddam had no connection to 9/11 or al Qaeda.
Once these facts are incorporated into your thinking, it is a no brainer to see the Iraq war as a colossal error that has no connection to terror.
