Biking heaven...

I forgot to mention that I had the bike out the weekend before last. I visited my family and that's where my bike is stored too. After, roughly two years of absence from biking I've got the bike back out on the road again and I'm starting to use it again.

My cousin Sean and I went out together on the Saturday and pootled around the beautiful country roads of Northamptonshire. I felt a little nervous about being back on the bike again and so he was really cool with me. He has a much bigger bike (Yamaha YZF) than mine (Honda CB600) and you could see that it just felt happier when it was really opening up and tearing through those corners but he kept it to a pace that I was more comfortable with.

After a while I wanted to spend some time on my own and told him if he wanted to he could go off and I'd make my own way home. But bless him he said he would meet me at the other end of the village that we were coming up to. You should have seen his bike go for the corner. It was like watching a colt being let out from it's stable. It almost leapt for joy at being able to race for the corners and then lean into them and hugging them with such passion. Aw man, it's a beautiful sight.

I practiced a little more with the cornering and after a few hours out I definitely felt my confidence returning. It was a good day out. :)
