I was up, washed, dressed and out of the flat by 10.00 this morning. Very cool to be up and not feel tired and groggy so I thought why not make the most of it and head out.
I walked into town and took some pics of the area. It was such a lovely day here and I felt incredibly chilled out. Other people were walking about enjoying the weather too and looking pretty happy and chilled. Sweet day for all out and about.
This picture was taken from the park I was walking through on the way into town. It's a gorgeous day but as you can see by the light overhead it's quite hazy. This changed as the day went on and it got to the point where I had to head back home to get out of the sun. I don't react well to hot sun.
The punts are out in force now thanks to the beautiful weather we're having. It'll soon be time for Pimms and punting. Hoorah!

The next picture is of one of the colleges as you come into Oxford. There are lots of narrow winding streets which meander around Oxford which are not as well known or used by the visiting masses of tourists. Which on a sunny Saturday is a blessing if you're not much of a crowds person.
The picture of the rose following this is a close up of a stone carving which is one of many framing a doorway into one of the colleges.
Oh by the way all these photos were taken using my Nokia Navigator phone camera so the larger resolution may not be the best quality.
