I have just been playing about with Photoshop and as I haven't used it in quite a few years I needed to update myself. So I did a search on Google for Photoshop tutorials and the website aptly named Photoshop Tutorials came up as one of the top results. I found this little tutorial, amongst many, for Spring Wallpaper. I know it's summer but it was so pretty I just wanted to try it out.
The instructions were amazingly simple and they provided links to many sites where you could download free artwork (free as long as you are not using it commercially). After about a couple of hours or so, I was a bit rusty so it will probably take most others who have a little more know how no time at all. I did follow all the instructions and was really surprised at how easy and lovely it was. I did a little alterations of my own to the design. After I added the paint splatters I decided I didn't like them in the end image and so hid those layers.
It's a lovely bright and cheerful image and I am really surprised at how easy it was to do. Brilliant tutorial that was fun as well as educational.
