Mending holes in socks with needle felting

I do believe I am turning into a domestic goddess! I have mended all Rays wool socks by using my felting needles and some wool that is the same colour as each of the socks. I have since then washed them in their normal wash and they are still holding together. He says that he cannot feel where I've mended them. Ooh yes indeed. I am the Irish Martha Stewart!
