I hadn't forgot to write about the results of the scan on my back, it's just taken me a while to be able to write or think about it without filling up.
I went along to see my GP on the 24th April and I asked him about the results. He read through the write up and casually said something along the lines of "it's just early deterioration of the spinal column". I remember how casually he said it and how he said it was premature and no, it has nothing to do with the osteopaenia as that only is an issue with fractures... Yes he really said that.
The fact that my bone density is -2.5 and the reason my previous GP had send me for the scan was the results of my MRI had shown that the disc T6 was wedged and showing unusual degradation. This was approximately two years ago.
My new GP is not as clued up as my previous one obviously, and this makes my life pretty difficult. He appears to be in the group of Doctors who just want to throw drugs at their patients and keep them anaesthetised rather than refer them onto specialists. He was not going to refer me on until he had seen the results of my scan, but all he has done since the results came back is prescribe an anti-inflammatory.
I feel like screaming when I think about it. It is horrible and so bloody frustrating to feel so impotent.
