Right I know I said no more book buying, at least until I get through the two shelves that I have and still have to read. BUT I had to buy this one...and it's not for me either. So that's okay, isn't it? *smile*
I bought my niece, Caoimhe, a lovely book of poems. I'm pretty sure she likes poetry, she seemed to really like the Milligan book, A Childrens Treasury of Milligan, I bought her last year.
The book I bought her is The Selected Poems of Roger McGough. A very good friend of mine recommended McGough before so when I saw this in the childrens section of the bookshop I just thought that's the one.
I wanted to have a better read of it, so I went into the coffee shop in the bookshop and had a good look through it. It's very good...made me chuckle a few times...*smile* I will give it to Caoimhe...honest
