Back at college...

Blimey this using the brain milarky is hard work. We've been back at college since Monday and my brain is knackered.

We had a very dull lecture earlier today. It was on the measurement scales used in research. Painful and two hours of it. Man that was not fun. The lecturer loved the topic, which was evident in her teaching but she arrived under the assumption that we knew more about research than we actually do. I asked her if she was aware that we had not had any lectures on research other than a couple of broad introductory sessions. That was a bit of a shock for her, but it helped her understand why we looked at her in complete bewilderment.

On the other hand we had a lecture on Culture and Ageing which was good and there was some good interaction between us students and the lecturer.

I do feel for the lecturers though, the class rooms are stifling and I imagine it looks like they are having to lecture a room full of zombies. :)
