From the lips of Gen. John Abizaid...it is incorrect to say there are floods of foreign fighters coming into Iraq.
Confirming this statement...there are 5,000 Iraqi insurgents in prison and 300 foreigners...a ratio of about 17 to 1...domestic vs. external.
So when the administration says we are better off fighting terrorists in Iraq.
Rather than here...it is misstating the facts to suit their purpose.
We are up against Iraqis and the longer we are in their as occupiers.
The more Iraqis we will be fighting...we have become the problem.
Bush's mistake in following the Cheney, Dumsfeld, Wolfowitz doctrine of going it alone...is one of horrendous proportions.
