January - the other half started his new contract out in Switzerland. Didn't see him for over four weeks. Miserable as f**k that period was.
February - managed to get out to Switzerland. During this time I also had an interview and was very lucky to impress them enough to get the job. Happiest moment was handing in my notice. There wasn't much time spent at work after this as the management were up to their old tricks of denial lies and fantasy. *sigh* A very no nonsense straight to the point email sent back and cc'd to the usual suspects produced a shocked silence and not a lot else. Suffice to say I did not leave that job on the best of terms. Management don't like being shown how badly they messed up - especially when it comes to messy things like Health and Safety, human resources and pay roll.
March - finished that old job and started new job. I have spent lots of time out in Switzerland with the other half. I'm turning into quite the high flyer. I've even got myself an executive membership and counting up the miles on that account. Since the start of the year I've been using both Easyjet and British Airways to get out to Switzerland and back. I've discovered that there is virtually no difference between the cost of using either one. The real differences between both airlines is the service that you receive. There is a chasm of difference here. The service and the wonderful staff on the BA flights are second to none. I had the lucky chance of being bumped up to Business Class on one trip and it was wonderful. Ahh the dreamy heights of luxury that I can only dream of in my usual seat back with the other hoi-polloi.
April - still haven't really done much with regards the new job. Lots of teleconferences and some paperwork. Waiting for the training so I can start working within the hospitals and on the device. The training dates are not until the end of the month, which I am certainly not complaining about and the icing on the cake: the training takes place in California! Hellish isn't it? lol
