My GP has prescribed some anti-inflammatories for the pain and a proton-pump-inhibitor (PPI) to combat any potential impact on my stomach. I mentioned to him that the last time I had been prescribed Diclofenac I had terrible stomach pains and this was with a PPI. But he's the doctor and he went ahead and prescribed Naproxen with Omeprazole.
Two days later and, quel surprise, I have horrible stomach pains - a burning sensation that makes eating and drinking very uncomfortable.
And the drama goes on... *sigh*
